JKFFA remembers hero of 1947 Pakistan war Brig Usman

JAMMU: J&K Freedom Fighters Association (JKFFA) held an impressive function to remember Brigadier Mohd. Usman (a Hero of 1947 Indo - Pak War) on his Martyrdom Daythe 3rd of July.
Brigadier Usman was the only high ranking officer of the Indian Army, who sacrificed his life while saving Nowshera, Jhangar and Rajouri on 3rd of July 1948. Brigadier Usman who was offered the highest post in the Pakistan Army by the Pakistan Government, but he refused the offer and fought bravely against the Pakistan Army.
The J&K Freedom Fighters Association, hold the function at Bal NiketanVed Mandir Ambphalla Jammu, which was organized by the President Ved Gandotra and Vikas Bhatti was the Guest of Honour.
The speakers highlighted the deeds of Brigadier Usman and lit candles in the memory of the great Martyr while paying him rich tributes. They said that Brigadier Usman was born on 15thof July 1912 and attained Martyrdom just 12 days before his 36th Birthday.
On this occasion, speakers also remembered all those known and un-known Martyrs & Freedom Fighters who sacrificed everything to attain freedom for the Modern India. They asked youth to fight corruption, social evils, and poverty to make an India of their dreams.
The prominent who spoke on the occasion were Rajiv Mahajan State President Shri Ram Sena, Parbhat Kapahi, R.R Raina President J&K Sangram Sena, Narinder Singh, Sunil Mahajan, S. Rajinder Singh President Sikh Progressive Front,
Vinod Mehra, Vikas Sajgotra, Sushma and Jyoti.
