Justice Magrey reviews progress of work on District Court Complex Pulwama, visits District Court Kulgam

ANANTNAG, Nov 28: Justice Ali Muhammad Magrey of Jammu and Kashmir High Court today visited court complex Qazigund and identified the land measuring 11 kanals for the construction of new court complex there.
Accompanied by lawyers and civil society members, Justice Magrey instructed the executing agency and officials of district administration Kulgam to ensure all formalities are completed in the fixed timeframe so that construction work is started at the earliest.
Justice Magrey also visited District Court Complex Kulgam, where he interacted with the lawyers and members of the civil society. While enquiring about the pending cases in the district court, Justice Magrey said courts and lawyers should put in their efforts for speedy disposal of pending cases and ensure people get timely justice. The Justice also stressed for holding Lok Adalats in the district for amicable settlement of the cases of varied nature.
The Justice Magrey was accompanied by DDC Kulgam, Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, ADDC Anantnag and SDM Dooru.
Meanwhile, Justice Magrey also visited the under-constructions District Court Complex Pulwama.
Principal District and Sessions Judge Abdul Rasheed Malik told Justice Magrey that Rs 9.30 crore have been spent out of Rs 20.97 crore for the construction of District Court Complex Pulwama.
