Rampaul appeals for strengthening alliance to form govt

JAMMU, Sep 26: Intensifying the campaign in support of coalition candidate in the Jammu east Assembly segment, former minister & Zonal President JKNC Babu Rampaul convened a meeting of prominent NC workers of different areas to mobilize support for NC-Congress joint candidate Yogesh Sawh-ney, who was also present in the meeting.
Prominent NC workers from Ward no 1, 3,5, 8, 9, 16, 17 and Ward no. 18 attended the meeting and assured full support to coalition candidate Yogesh Sawhney. The meeting was organized by Zonal Secretary and Coordinator Jammu District JKNC, Dr Vikas Sharma.
Addressing a meeting, Rampaul said, "Core pillars of our manifesto, focuses on Social Progress, Wom-en's Welfare, and Empow-erment. Our vision for Jammu & Kashmir revolves around creating a society that prioritizes inclusivity, equal opportunity, and social justice for all, particularly the marginalized sections and women."
Elaborating on election promises for women and other marginalized sections, he said that they were pledged to provide financial security by offering Rs 5000 per month to female heads of economically wea-ker sections (EWS) households which he said would ensure stability for families who rely on women for leadership and support.
Outlining some of the party's key initiatives, he mentioned that the NC is committed to raise old age pensions from Rs 1000 to Rs 3000, increase financial assistance for girls marriages to Rs 75,000 from 50,000 of EWS, provide 12 LPG cylinders per family per year of EWS, Provide free 200 units power, free drinking water, Provide free travel of females in govt transport, legalize MSP for farmers and Provide 10 Kg rice per person per month free of cost.
He emphasized that the party will continue to focus on improving the quality of life for every citizen and introduce more welfare schemes aimed at uplifting the marginalized sections of society. He stated that by promising regularization, the JKNC is directly addressing the concerns of temporary employees and their families. The implications of such a policy are far-reaching.
