AJKPA holds pen down strike

Jammu, Jun 21: State-wide Pen down Strike of AJKPA held at all District Head Quarters of State. Baring heavy rains all Girdawars and Patwaries assembled at their respective District Head Quarters to press their long pending genuine demands which include:
Grade pay of Patwaries from 2400 to 2800, Conducting of DPC of Girdawars and Patwaries. Abolition of Direct Recruitment of Naib Tehsildars, Creation of GQ Circles and Patwar Halqa's.
Promotion of qualified Gq's to Naib Tehsildars, Enhancement of Allowances, Establishment of departmental enquiry cell and Meeting hall for AJKPA at province level.
The AJKPA has already represented from time to time these demands but nothing has been done so far.
Hence AJKPA left with no option instead to o on one day pen down strike all over the State:
It has been decided in the state body meeting of the Association presided by Raman Raj Sharma State President of the association that the association will announce further course of action after Festival if the demands are not fulfilled.
