Army organises kabaddi matches

Jammu, June 25: Army organised a Kabaddi tournament at Cherji in Kishtwar district, recently in continuing with our efforts of nurturing sporting talent of youth of Kishtwar and encouraging the young minds of the district to participate in constructive activities.
The tournament, which commenced with singing of National Anthem, consisted of two teams of Cherji area. The youth turned out in large numbers to cheer the teams.
The finals were played between Bhada team and Dedna team wherein Bhada team emerged as winners.
The participants and spectators lauded the initiatives of the Army and expressed that such events will give a fillip and will also aid in developing healthy competitive spirit amongst the youth of the area.
