White Paper will expose BJP’s magnitude of discrimination: Chuni

Jammu, June 25: "We are going to distribute one lakh white papers to expose the magnitude of discrimination adopted by BJP Government between PoK Displaced Persons and Valley migrants and with this move, the road map of 2019 elections will be prepared against hostile parties to PoK DPs", this was stated by Rajiv Chuni Chairman of S. O. S. International - An organization for PoK Displaced Persons today in a mammoth rally organized in Jammu. Thousands of PoK Displaced Persons attended the rally and condemned BJP led Government for not paying any heed to the plights of PoK Displaced Persons.
While addressing the rally, S. O. S. International Chairman Rajiv Chuni said that it has been more than 7 decades since PoK DPs have been seeking justice but none of the Governments have thought about our rehabilitation. "We have been fallen prey to one or other party from time to time. 5300 State Subject displaced families of PoK presently residing outside the State. These destitute families after their migration from PoK were provided shelters outside the State due to paucity of space here. BJP is patting its own back and now, it is proudly in business of creating more troubles and uncertainty among PoK DPs with continuous wicked gimmicks. What can be more insane that BJP shamefully keeps on playing its dirty political game with no one else but with community who sacrificed their all for the sake of the State of Jammu and Kashmir. He further said that 31, 619 PoK DPs families have been swollen up to more than 2 lakh folks but it is very sad that we are still counted 31, 619 families even after the lapse of 7 decades and out of which 5300 families are placed under exclusion", he added.
Launching a scathing attack at BJP, he further said that it is very sad that BJP who gave the slogan of "Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas" is confined to the "Vikas (Development)" of only Valley migrants. BJP's slogan now seems a farce as it has duped PoK refugees once the election was over. During elections, BJP made tall claims of resolving all issues pertaining to PoK refugees but it has shown a quite slavish face by ignoring us everywhere. BJP led Government has kept discriminatory approach while dealing with PoK refugees.
The magnitude of discrimination can be gauged by the fact that KPs are getting monthly cash relief of Rs 10, 000 per family, free ration, free electricity, free shelter, free health care facilities, interest free loans, income tax exemption, reservation, free school education to higher education and other facilities. Contrary to this, PoK refugees are getting nothing.
One hand every comfort is being provided to one community and other hand adopting step motherly treatment to another community. Is it called "Sabka Vikas" or only Kashmir's "Vikas"? he asked. Mr. Chuni stated that some BJP leaders are trying to weaken our movement and they are not letting miss any chance to exploit us as they have been doing it from the day they are in power.
S. O. S. International Chairman said that State and Centre have remained hostile towards PoK DPs due to which they are constrained to spend their lives in troubles without having fundamental services and it is quite painful that no one has come forward to give healing touch to the most pitiable populace of the world and what will be more regrettable that their own people have dumped them", Mr. Chuni stated.
"BJP took out "Refugee Adhikar Rally" and promised 5 seats for PoK DPs representatives in State Assembly but it has not kept even a single word. How pathetic it is! BJP made tall promises before polls but it took U-turn when it got drivers' seat", he stated.
