Bharat Vikas Parishad adopts Kotla village

Reasi, July 6: Village Kotla is adopted by BVP for Development as Model Village. Prantiya Samagra Gram Project Implem entation committee headed by Ved Parkash Sharma, Chairman and accompanied by S.N Sharma, Chief Advisor, Jagdish Chander Sharma & Gopal Sharma, Tech nical Convenor, Shiv Ram Sharma visited the village.
Rajesh Baru (Tehsildar), President, Shree Shiv Khori Shrine Gramin Branch Kotla & Jagdish Sharma, distt coordinator BVP briefed the committee regarding civil works to be taken up in village as per guidelines of project & held comprehensive tour of entire village. It was decided to develop pond of historic Bheem Goda of Pandava period & restoring religious sanctity of this historical pond besides construction of bathing, washing and cattle ghat. Much focus will be given on better sanitation of the village. A Village co-ordination and monitoring committe for implementation of said project was also formed. Public interaction meeting was also held in which Tehsildar, Pouni, Naib Tehsildar Ransoo, Local Sarpanch besides members of BVP were also present & village offered rousing welcome to delegation of BVP. Prominent among those who were present on this occasion were Karan Singh Om Parkash Ram Rattan Paras Ram Shabir Hussain Shobin Chander Bhushan Khajan Singh Amit Parveen Ashok Kumar Ravinder Rattan Singh Des Raj Bhushan Bodh Raj Ravi.
