Hunger strike by Contractual Lecturers enters 161st day

Jammu, July 24: The hunger strike by contractual lecturers (10+2) enters 161stday but no response has been received from the govt. side till date. Today on 24th of July 2017, they have been demanding for their regularization as per the Civil services Special Provision act 2010. A policy framed for the Regularization of all the ad-hoc/ Contractual/ Consolidated employees after rendering seven years of services.
All J&K 10+2 Contractual Lecturers submitted their letters in order to convey their message in a polite manner as they are silently sitting on the hunger strike our demands are not conceded at an earliest then govt. has face reciprocitary results.
Mr. Arun Bakshi President said govt. has just given blank assurance which are of no use what more exploitation of 10+2 contractual lectures. We will not tolerate any cruelty by govt. on the part of contractual Lecturers. We will not tolerate our exploitation move now.
Mr. Bakshi said if our demands are not conceded at an earliest than they wilt snake this agitation as a Mass Movement which will be resulted into fetal consequences which govt. has to face in future.
He also said the association finally decided that we will not lift this Dharna of Hunger Strike till their cases for Regularization as per Civil Services Special Provision Act 2010 are finally settled.
Mr. Guftar, Mr. Shafqat, Madhvi and Shilpa were also on chain hunger strike. but govt. never paid any attention towards the grievances of 10+2 Contractual Lecturers.
Mr. Pankaj Sharma also said that govt. should avoid its apathetic attitude towards the Contractual Lecturers (10-2) and adopt sympathetic way to settle the problem of the highly educated Contractual Lecturers (10+2) who are on hunger strike since 14th Feb. 2017. He said that he demanded that 10+2 lecturers are also contractual vide orderno.1584-edu.of 2003 and vide order no.1328 of GAD. All the contractual lecturers are to be continued till further order, till their regularization
