Daffodils Care Convent Play way School celebrates Janamashtmi

JAMMU, Aug 14: Daffodils Care Convent Play way School, Jain Bazar Janamashtmi with great pomp and show. The occasion was started with a hymn of Lord Krishna.
A play was also presented by the tiny angles showing the fight between Arjuna and Duryodhana where Lord Krishna was explaining Arjuna about the bond of brotherhood. Children were also looking very beautiful in the different characters of Mahabharata.
Emphasizing the victory of God over Evil, a victory procession was run by little angles. The icing on the cake was the fight between Lord Krishna & Kaali Naag on the tunes of thundering music prepared by Dance teacher Miss Sush. The 'Matli Phosh ritual was also performed by all little Krishnas & Radhas. Everywhere there was voice raising: Hathi Gorha Palki, Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki”. Children were also shown a movie of lord krishna based on moral of speaking truth. Children enjoyed white butter and sweets distributed by the principle Shikha Puri. She conveyed the message of love and peace and stress on speaking truth.
