DB directives in PIL regarding Security of Courts

Jammu, Oct 11: In a Public Interest Litigation filed by Summit Nayyar seeking security of Court complex, A Division Bench of State High Court Comprising Justice Ramalingam Sudhakar and Justice Sanjay Kumar Gupta after hearing both the sides in length, directed SSP Traffic was instructed to remove all vehicles parked in no parking zone without discrimination.
Division Bench also directed SSP Security will prepare a Sample Vehicle (SVP) as is done in the Supreme Court and the Delhi High Court With all safety features. He also assured that security arrangements will be fine tuned and he will present a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for security of the High Court.
Division Bench further observed that the Executive Engineer PWD stated that they have
submitted a DPR to the Registrar General, High Court of Jammu and Kashmir for providing proper security features. If it is approved by the High Court, then they will proceed with the work. The Registrar General, High Court of Jammu and Kashmir to submit the DPR with approval at the earliest. JNF
