JAMMU, Oct 13: A strong protest was organized by the District Congress Committee Jammu Urban on the latest controversy regarding the company of Shri Jay Shah Son of National President of BJP Amit Shah, who accumulated huge wealth by means of undue favour by the Modi led NDA Govt. at the Centre and the incident in which one top separatist leader Asiya Andrabi has been shown as 'role model' in the Govt. campaign for "Beti-Bachao Beti-Padhao" in Kashmir.
Led by PCC Vice President Raman Bhalla, a large number of party leaders and workers including functionaries of District Congress Committee Jammu urban and Mahila Congress took out a march from Congress HQ Shahidi Chowk, carrying play cards and raising slogans against the state and centre Governments over their failures on various fronts.
The play cards and slogans highlighted the misdeeds of Centre and State Governments. As the protesters reached Raghunath Mandir Chowk, a heavy contingent of police laid barricades and prevented the Congress leaders from proceeding towards City Chowk. Upon this the Congress leaders held a dharna and strong protest demonstration at the site raising slogans against the state government for trying to prevent them from lodging protests over the failures of the government in the peaceful and democratic manner.
Mr. Bhalla further said that both Centre and State governments haves failed to fulfill a single commitment with the people and have brought miseries for the common man due to their wrong policies. The achievement of Govt. is that the divisive forces have succeeded in vitiating the atmosphere of peace and harmony in the Country. There is hue and cry everywhere and nobody feel secure in the present regime.
Mr. Ravinder Sharma in his address said that countrymen want to know the truth on these allegations and demanded that PM Narinder Modi Should Immediately seek the resignation of Amit Shah from the post and hold an independent probe headed by two sitting judges of the Supreme court.
He questioned what was the business of the Temple Enterprises Private Limited which is the company of Amit Shah's Son Sh. Jay Shah besides the wife and Daughter in Law of Sh. Amit Shah, that during a period of over one year it enhanced its turnover 16,000 times? what was its properties, the number of employees and source of funding? Was it not the responsibility of IT department to look into this aspect under these circumstances when a common business man is questioned by IT department for his genuine deposits and financial transactions. Why the IT department closed eyes towards this case about the sudden profit and loss of the company of Amit Shah's Son, Sharma asked.
