BLSKS presents dogri musical play “Sare Hath-Sara Bhavikh”

JAMMU, Oct 14: To celebrate Global Handwashing Day & promote the Traditional folk culture of J&K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan performed it's 178th Saturday series dogri musical play "Sare Hath-Sara Bhavikh" today in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production & JK Bhoomi Human welfare society at it's office Compound Durga Bhawan Disco More Janipur Jammu on the theme of "Swatchh Bharat".
The Musical play was written produced and directed by M.L.Dogra, former Regional Director, Song and Drama Division Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govern ment of India. The Program was inaugurated by Chief Guest V.K. Magotra Former Regional Director, of Directorate of Field Publicity, Govern ment of India. Among the Guest of Honors were J.K.Raina, Freelancer Producer Director TV, R.P.Amla, Event Director BLSKS, Dr. A.C.Bhagat, former chief officer department of animal husbandry, J&K Government. Dr.Tara Singh Charak, former deputy director, health department J&K, Dr. Anju Dogra, Health Department, J&k Govern ment. The program was commenced with songs, "Hathe di safai Saben di bhalai", "Swatch Bharat Swatchh Bharat", "Jal Hi Jeevan", "Ganga Tera Pani Amrit Pal-Pal Mela Hota Jaey", "Jai Ganga Maiya" songs and dances were presented to aware the masses & the music was composed by renowned music teacher Raju Bajgal and the song sung by the artists of BLSKS and students of the institute. The Chief Guest lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful and effective.
Earlier welcome address of M.L. Dogra, Chairman, BLSKS through light on the theme 'Our Hands, Our Future'. Dogra Said every year October 15 is Global Handwashing Day, a global advocacy day dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding about the importance of handwashing with. Every year, Global Handwashing Day is celebrated with events, campaigns, and handwashing programs around the world. Handwashing with soap has the power to improve access to education for children, protect the health of patients and communities, and reduce inequities. It has an important role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals-contributing to zero hunger, good health, quality education, reduced inequalities, and more.
Efforts on Global Handwashing Day to promote the benefits and practice of handwashing with soap, as well as fostering access to and improving hygiene facilities, will help us work towards a future where that potential is realized. and also informed to the media the Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Santhan presented more than 150 Musical Plays & awareness Cultural Shows to promote the culture of India and awareness programs on Prevention of Aids, Water Sanitation, National Integration, Rural Development, Drug Abuse, Cleanliness and Save the girl Child.
