SSP Railways inaugurates newly constructed “Martyrs Memorial” at Katra

Katra, Oct 16: SSP Railways Katra Shri Ranjit Singh Sambyal organised an impressive function at GRP Lines Katra by inaugurating the newly constructed "Martyrs Memorial" in the memory of those Police personnel who attained martyrdom while performing official duties.
He further inaugurated "Recreation Hall" with modern facilities at GRP Lines Katra for the entertainment of Jawans. 1 he function W$S attended oy SDPO Railways Katra, SHO P/S GRP Katra and other officers/Jawans of GRP Katra.
Thereafter SSP held a Darbar at GRP Lines Katra in which the grievances of officers/Jawans of GRP Katra have been listened and redressed appropriately.
All the officers/ Jawans were directed to perform their duties with dedication, sincerity and punctuality to maintained the foolproof security of Railway passengers and Railway property as every body knows that the Railway Station Katra is of national level importance where people from all over the world are visiting to pay obeisance at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Katra. They were also made aware about the welfare schemes launched by the Police Head quarters recently for the welfare of Police personnel.
