Teachers of 2 DAV clusters updated at MHAC

JAMMU, Dec 11: Considering teacher updation as the main key to school's success, teachers of Punjab & Jammu cluster participated in Capacity Building Programme organized by DAV Centre of Academic Excellence (DAV CAE). More than 70 teachers from different schools of Batala, Qadian, Gurdaspur & Pathankoat & around 70 teachers from MHAC attended the workshops of EEDP, Science for classes 3rd to 10th, Computer Science (Classes 3rd to 10th), Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics & English for all the PGTs respectively.
The morning session commenced with the lightining of lamp, DAV Gaan & then formal welcome by Principal MHAC Mrs. Sween Puri. Dr, Naveen Anand, Associate Professor at Govt. College for Women Gandhi Nagar & Dr. Atul Hans, Sr. Co-ordinator at APS Jammu & Mrs. Shashi Rattan, Principal, Sarvodya School were the Resource Persons for the day.
In the first session Mrs. Sween puri presented an informative PPT on Time Management followed by a PPT on Personality Development by Dr. Atul Hans. Dr. Naveen Anand interacted with the delegates on carrer options in Chemistry through his PPT. Mrs. Shashi Rattan had an interactive session with all the teachers of EEDP workshop to help them to nurture young minds with valuable education.
In the afternoon session all the groups discussed their best practices & teaching methodologies & framed sample papers of all the concerned classes. Principal Mrs. Puri appreciated the efforts of Resource Persons & also of the delegates who tried to put in their best efforts to learn & share new things amongst the teachers of two clusters of DAV from Punjab & Jammu. The programme concluded after discussing & filling up of feedback forms by all the participants.
