Kotwal resigns as Sr. Addl. Adv. General

Jammu, Feb 12: Mr. K. Nirmal Kotwal Advocate resigned from the post of Sr. Additional Advocate General Jammu wing of the High Court on personal reasons. However he requested to Govern ment to pay his final disposal cases fee to Free Legal Aid Fund.
The resignation letter reads…….
“I was extremely grateful for reposing confidence in me to represent the State Govt. before the Highest Court of the State but because of my personal reasons, I am unable to carry on with the present assignment of Sr. Additional Advocate General appointed vide Govt. order No. 5372/LD(A) of 2017 dated 25.10.2017, however, it is requested that the counsel fee may it be on account of final disposal of cases or 2nd half counsel fee entitlement accrued to me from 1st of Nov. 2017 upto 09th of Feb. 2018 shall be credited to State Legal Aid Fund maintained under Legal Services Authorities Act 1997 and in this regard, if I am required to submit any formality please ask me to complete the same.”
