BHELASSA, Feb 17: Sanjay Manhas, In-charge Chenab Valley Congress Sewa Dal criticized the State Coalition Government for ignoring the Chenab Valley on all fronts. During the course of the visit to Bhelassa, the villagers apprised the Manhas of the problems being faced by them due to dilapidated condition of roads, power crisis, ration storage, dearth of staff in schools, etc.
Manhas said that the PDP-BJP which had made several promises to the people of the state before coming to power has proved to be a hoax after coming to power. "They have failed to fulfil even a single promise they had made with the people," Manhas said.
Manhas also lambasted the State Coalition Government for not taking up any development work on ground as the same has been seen in the papers only. Manhas said there are hundreds of problems and nobody is ready to listen to them. He alleged that the BJP-PDP government had turned out to be a complete failure on all fronts. "Most parts of Chenab Valley were reeling under acute shortage of water, power and ration supply but the government had taken no effective steps to solve the problem,"
Before taking over the reign of BJP government in J&K, the BJP leaders claimed to launch thousands of jobs for the unemployment but its unfortunate to say that the graph of unemployment is rising day by day and the youth of J&K are suffering due to the directionless policies. He appealed to the government to frame policy for unemployed youth so that they will get a sigh of relief.
Manhas urged upon the government to address the problems being faced by the people of Chenab Valley failing the Congress Sewa Dal will launch series of protest against the PDP-BJP Government.
Among those who were present on the occasion include Haji Abas, Qyoum Khan, Fulel Singh, Koshal Kumar, Liquiet Ali and Mohammad Ashraf.
