BLSKS presents musical play “Apun Bachna Duain Bachana”

Jammu, Mar 10: To observe National Safety Week 2018 & promote the Traditional Folk culture of J&K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan performed it's 199th Saturday series musical play "Apun Bachna Duain Bachana" today in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production at open air theatre Durga Bhawan, Disco More Janipur Jammu on the theme of "National Safety". The Musical play was written produced and directed by M.L. Dogra, Former Regional Director, Song and Drama Division Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.
The Program was inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. Tara Singh Charak, former deputy director, health department J&K. Among the Guest of Honors were R.P.Amla, Event Director BLSKS, V.K.Magotra Former Regional Director, of Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India Dr.A.C.Bhagat, former chief officer department of animal husbandry, J&K Government, Dr. Anju Dogra, Health Department, J&k Government.
The program was commenced with songs, "Apun Bachna Duain Bachana Nara aye ghar-ghar punchana" "Cheto Cheto Re Insan", "Aao Aao Jawano sabne gi samjhache", "Nashe kola Bachoo", "Apu niyam surasha de sab ge apnayi layo", "Jag Jag jag mada bhai mere jaag", songs, Mime, Skits and dances were presented to aware the masses & the music was assisted by Mr.Raju Bajgal, Muisc Instructor, BLSKS and the song sung by the artists of BLSKS and students of the institute.
The Chief Guest lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful and effective and also said National Safety Week is a safety campaign which will be celebrated from 4th of March to the 10th of March in 2018.
Prior to above the concluding function today BLSKS also organized six awareness programs for in the Industrialist and Drivers, Transporters, General Public in the Govt. & Private Institutions at villages Kot Bhalwal, Seri Pandita, Marh, Aknoor, Vijaypur, Bari Bramhana of Distt. Samba & Jammu.
