ADDC chairs District Level RSETI Advisory Committee meeting

JAMMU, Apr 17: A meeting of the District Level RSETI Advisory Committee of SBI RSETI Jammu was held under the chairmanship of Additional District Develop ment Commissioner Jammu, Suraiya Jabeen. The meeting was attended by AGM, NABARD, SK Sonkar, CEO, JUDA, Sushil Khajuria, District Project Manager, JKSRLM, Zahoor Akram, State Project Manager, JKSRLM, N.C. Prabhakar, Executive Officer, KVIB, Vakil Dass, Assistant Director, Handloom Develop ment Deptt, N.D. Verma besides other concerned officers. Director RSETI Tilak Raj presented progress of RSETI during the quarter ended December 2017. He informed that 17 awareness camps were held in different parts of Jammu with the active participation of the different bank branches and Line Departments.
He informed that 5 training programs were organized by RSETI during the quarter under review in which 101 candidates were trained in different streams. He also presented progress related to settlement and credit linkage and requested all the banks to give special emphasis for financing trained candidates under MUDRA loan and other Govt. Sponsored Schemes besides the information about two off-campus training programmes which were conducted by the RSETI outside the campus by taking the necessary approval from the appropriate authority.
ADDC while speaking on the occasion asked all the Line Departments / Banks to strive hard to sponsor candidates to RSETI for different types of skill training. She asked Director RSETI to improve credit linkage rate of RSETI trained candidates by sponsoring them to different banks and line departments on priority.
