IAF’s Cheetah copter crash-lands in Natha Top

JAMMU, May 23: An Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopter crash-landed at Natha Top in Udhampur district soon after it took off on a routine sortie from Jammu on Wednesday. No casualty was reported.
Defence spokesperson Northern Command Col N N Joshi said, “A Cheetah helicopter of the IAF on a routine sortie from Jammu to Natha Top carrying two passengers and two aircrew crash-landed at Natha Top Helipad today at 0950hrs.”
Col Joshi confirmed that all aircrew and passengers on board in this chopper are safe, adding that an inquiry has been set up to ascertain the cause of the accident.
