Bollywood is always about survival of the fittest: Tusshar Kapoor

14/08/2018

Tusshar Kapoor has had an eventful career in Bollywood, having seen several ups and downs, ever since he debuted in 2001. And later this year, another actor will be making his debut Aayush Sharma's first film, Love Ratri, will hit theatres this October.
Aayush's brother-in-law, , shared some wisdom about surviving in Bollywood during the film's trailer launch and Tusshar told Mirror that he agrees completely with the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor.
Salman stated during the event that while it is easy to launch someone, the challenge lies in finding what comes next.
He stated that if an artiste, even if he or she is a star kid, fails to deliver hit movies, projects will stop coming their way as it is all about the box office numbers these days.
So newcomers have to constantly prove themselves to secure their place in the industry.
Tusshar about his experience during a one-on-one chat, the Golmaal actor completely agreed with Salman's statements.
“It was always the same rule for newcomers within and outside the industry.
There have also been many star kids who became very successful and many who couldn’t make the cut. I don't think someone gets more advantage or now things have changed – the opportunity was always there for everyone.
I think, if you have luck, passion, x-factor and are hardworking, the thing will come out in front of the camera and people will love you. That’s how so many actors like my dad (Jeetendra), Dharamendra ji among others came from outside the industry and became stars – as they had it in them.”
He added, “So with nepotism, no one will become a star. People will get one or two films because they are the child of someone famous, but as Salman ji said – you are on your own after that.
It will always be the survival of the fittest and people who are talented, are here to stay. ‘Kaun kitna tikao hai, woh zyaada bikao hoga idhar’ (A person who has talent to sustain himself, will be easier to market here in the industry).”
