DPS Jammu organizes fancy dress competition

JAMMU, Aug 13: To promote and showcase the talents and creativity of Tiny Tots, DPS Jammu organized Fancy Dress Competition for the students of Class Nursery on 13 Aug. 2018.
The children actively participated in the competition and came dressed up as famous nationalists of Indian Modern History such as Bhagat Singh, Rani Laxmi Bai, Narendra Modi, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Indira Gandhi, Sushma Swaraj, Dr. Manmohan Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose etc. and spoke about their characters. The whole programme was adjudged by Ms. Payal Tandon, school faculty.
The first place went to Alena Arora of class Nursery-C & Rizwan Bhatt of class Nursery-A. The second place was bagged by Reedha Malik & Ashvee Katoch of class Nursery-A while the third prize was shared by Adn Fatima of class Nursery-C & Trisha Dogra of class Nursery-B. The consolation prizes were also given to Aarshav Gupta & Kavish Bagotra of class Nursery-A.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated the students and encouraged them to love and respect their country at any cost.
Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta appreciated the students and encouraged them to be more patriotic. Also present on the occasion was Ms. Preeti Abrol, Coordinator, Pre-Primary wing.
