BJP pays tributes to former PM

JAMMU, Aug 18: Remembering the noble soul, former Prime Minister, Bharat Ratna, Late Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu West, held a simple yet heart touching tribute programme at Pt. Prem Nath Dogra Bhawan, Kachi Chawni.
Former Cabinet Mini-ster Sat Sharma (MLA), BJP State Secretary & District Prabhari Pradu-man Singh, District President Ayodhya Gupta and other senior leaders of party expressed their emotions, while remembering the great soul.
Sat Sharma, while paying tributes to the great ideologue, termed the heavenly departure of Sh. Atal ji as the personal loss to every single BJP activist. He said that Atal ji was equally popular amongst all the political as well as social sections. He said the Nation has lost a true and devoted son and the loss has created a great void in the heart of everyone. Sharma also threw light on the life events of Atal ji and said that the contributions and work of Atal ji will be remembered for the ages to come. He said that such noble souls take birth only in a millennium, who work for welfare of society from the core of their hearts. He said that due to the unrelenting efforts of Vajpayee ji, BJP has reached to the zenith of Indian politics and is still growing with ever-increasing pace. We have lost a "fatherly figure", he added.
Ayodhya Gupta, while remembering Atal ji termed him as a noble soul with a pious mission in hands. He said that Atal ji has inspired everybody by his fluent poems filled with patriotism and straightforwardness. His wisdom, his politics, his statesmanship, his simplicity and everything related to him will remain a source of energy and answer to any doubt for those who feel themselves stuck in a grim situation. He prompted everybody to take lessons from Atal ji's life history and proceed on a better note with grit and determination to serve the Nation and Society.
Mohan Singh Rana, Jaideep Sambyal, Sat Paul Karlupia, Puneet Mahajan, Dr. Akshay Sharma, Kuldeep Mahajan, Kunti Jasrotia, Jeet Angral, Vijay Sharma, Veena Gupta, Dinesh Mahajan, Kamini Gupta, Asha Sharma and others were among the prominent BJP leaders who remembered the tallest leader of the time.
