Rasana Crime Case: Fact Finding Report by NGO submitted to Rajnath

NEW DELHI/JAMMU, Sep 10: Recently a delegation comprising the members of a fact finding committee constituted by Forum for Social Justice, Chandigarh led by Justice (Retd.) V.D. Gyani, Indore, Dr. D.R. Kothari, Ahmedabad, Sonal Joshi, Advocate and Social Activist, Ahmedabad and Sourabh Goel, Advocate, Punjab & Haryana High Court) met Home Minister Rajnath Singh and submitted him a copy of report on Kathua Rape and Murder of Minor Bakharwal Girl child. The fact finding committee was constituted by a renowned NGO Forum for Social Justice based in Chandigarh.
Earlier the committee had visited Jammu, Kathua and Rasana village wherein they had interacted with several people.
Based on their first hand information from the concerned people and physical visits of Rasana, KootaMorh, Kathua and Jammu.
The fact finding committee in it's 82 pages report has recommended for CBI probe of the crime which they have called as gruesome and condemnable.
The fact finding committee had visited these areas in May this year, their report also includes copy of FIR, Copy of Challan, Postmortem examination report, Pathology department report, newspaper reports, video reports including that of his biological father and adoptive father.
