Religious fervor marks Dussehra celebration at Ramban

RAMBAN, OCT 18: Marking the victory of good over evil, Dussehra was celebrated with full religious fervour and gaiety in Ramban here today.
An impressive function was organized by Sanatan Dharam Sabha and Dussehra celebration committee, Ramban in the premises of Government High Secondary School (GHHS), Ramban where the effigies of demon King Ravan, his brother Kumbkaran and son Meghnath were consigned to flames..MLA Ramban, Neelam Kumar Langeh, SSP, Ramban, Anita Sharma besides District officers and prominent citizens from all walks of life were present on the occasion.
District and Police Administration had made elaborate security and other necessary arrangements for the smooth celebration of the festival.
