Panchayat Polls: First phase of training for ROs, AROs held at Ramban

RAMBAN, OCT 19: The first phase of training of ROs and AROs for forthcoming Panchayat Elections was held here today. Around 200 officers and officials of different departments participated in the training. During the training, an interactive session was held wherein queries of the participants were answered by the Nodal Officer.
Nodal Officer for Training Management, Viqar Gari asked the participants to ensure the adherence of Model Code of Conduct and guidelines of ECI in letter and spirit. He advised them to go through the manual hand book for the smooth and successful conduct of Panchayat elections.
He briefed the participants about their duties and roles besides all the key aspects of ensuing Panchayat election. He further emphasized on maintaining coordination among all concerned officers for a successful conduct of polls.
Master Trainers, ZEPO, Parshotam Singh Raju, Lecturer, Mohd Mumtaz Bhat and Anil Kumar demonstrated the handling of ballot boxes.
