JAMMU, OCT 20: Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir, celebrated its victory in the Urban Local Bodies elections in a grand way today at the party headquarter, Jammu. BJP state President Ravinder Raina (MLA) addressed the jubilant party workers while congratulating the triumphant Candidates.
MP Lok Sabha Jugal Kishore Sharma, former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta, State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, State Geneal Secretaries Dr. Narinder Singh, Yudhvir Sethi, former Minister Bali Bhagat, former Minister & State Spokesperson Priya Sethi, MLA Rajesh Gupta, MLC Ajatshatru Singh, Adv. Ramesh Arora also addressed on the occasion.
It is pertinent to mention that politically important Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) having 75 wards was swept by the BJP with excellent number of seats.
Ravinder Raina, while addressing media persons, said that this is the victory of truth and development. He said that today the "Lotus" has bloomed from Lal Chowk se Lal Qila. BJP got bumper votes, Landslide victory in all regions. He termed this as win of BJP cadre and BJP's ideology as well as of every Indian and nationalism. He stressed that the public of Jammu and Kashmir has chosen BJP. Raina urged the workers to continue the good work that they have been doing to ensure that right candidates get elected in the forth coming Panchyat Elections and also in Parliamentary Election which are not far away.
Raina said that the thumping majority proves the BJP's agenda of development. He said that public appreciated the policies of BJP. He said that in these elections, other political parties were not even in sight. He related this to the sacrifices of Dr. Mookherjee and other great ideologists, who have laid down their lives for the society.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, in his address, said that the common masses have chosen their true well-wishers by exercising their votes. He said that BJP will work every hour to keep the trust of public. He expressed hope said that the BJP Corporators will ensure the development of their wards.
Kavinder Gupta, in his address, wished all the candidates for their grand win in the election. He termed this as the victory of Nationalism and reflection of ground work of BJP in government. He said that this landslide victory in local bodies will further boost the development of the region.
