Sat felicitates newly elected Mayor, holds Janta Darbar

JAMMU, NOV 17:In an impressive program held at Bhagwati Nagar area of Ward 14, Former Minister and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) along with Corporator of Ward 14 Pramod Kapahi , felicitated newly elected Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta. Gupta was welcomed in the Ward by the BJP MLA where a large number of people were also present. After the welcome program, a public interaction program (Janta Darbar) was also held in which numerous problems were also discussed. Political activists of the area were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that it is indeed a great day for Jammuites that today we have got a person as Mayor who has always thought about the welfare of masses and his commitment to work for organization earlier has proved that new Mayor will work for betterment of Jammu. He stated that people have lots of expectations from BJP and further we are also committed to the agenda of "SABKA SATH SABKA VIKAS" and we are committed to provide development to the masses at their doorsteps.
Chander Mohan thanked the masses for honoring him and in his address he said that people showed their full confidence in BJP in the recently held Urban Local Bodies election and their support will not be ignored. He stated that Central Government has many projects for Jammu under Smart City Mission and other plans. He said he will work honestly and with full dedication for welfare of Jammu City and every nook and corner will be covered in terms of development.
Both leaders also interacted with the masses present there and several works were also jotted down which were demanded by locals of the area and they assured that works will be taken up in coming days in order to avoid pubic distress. Pramod Kapahi presented vote of thanks and he said that every assistance will be provided to the locals so that Ward 14 can be developed to its fullest. BJP District President Jammu West Ayodhya Gupta, Munish Khajuria, Dr Dalip Sambyal, Rajnath Bhatt, Ashok Sharma, Rakesh Nargotra, Raj Kumar, Darshan Lal, Asha Rani, SAntosh, Radha, Rani Devi, Savitri, Sanjay Gupta, Jai Lal, Dr Ashok, Adv Rajiv Jasrotia, Gulzar Singh, Ambu, Rajinder Tikku, YN Bakshi and several others were also present.
