Rotary Club Jammu organises free retina eye checkup and eye donation camp

JAMMU, Dec 9: Rotary Club of Jammu in association with Sachdeva Netralaya Jammu organised a free Retina eye check-up and Eye Dona-tion camp at Gurudwara Sahib Chati Patshahi Talab Tiloo Jammu on 09-12-2018 from 9.30 am to 2 pm under the President of the Club Rtn Dr Navneet Gupta . The Specialist Doctors under the supervision of Dr Abishek Sachdeva has checked the patients .
More than 150 patients were screened in the camp and 20 cases of Retina ailment referred to Sachdeva Netralaya for further treatment free of cost. More than 25 cases of Cataract have been referred to Sachdeva Netralaya for free cataract surgery free of cost
Sat Sharma Ex Minister for HAUDD visited the camp and requested the people to take advantage of such camps held by Rotary Club of Jammu in routine.
In addition the people will also be aware about the eye donation by the Project Director Rtn.Sunil Kumar Sawhney
Besides President Dr Navneet Gupta the other rotarians present were Rtn Deepak Baboo (Secretary) Rtn S K Sawhney, Rtn Harbans Singh, Rtn Prem Shanker Singh, Rtn Dr Gaurav Vaid, Rtn Dr Anil Amla President Elect RC Jammu (2019-20), Rtr Rajat Singh with his team were also present.
