Shubh Memorial International School celebrates Grandparents Day

Shubh Memorial Intern ational School, Akhnoor Celebrated Grandparents Day. Grandparents are a family's greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy, the greatest storytellers, the keepers of traditions. Grandparents are the family's strong foundation.
Through their special love and care, grandparents keep a family close at heart. To honour them Shubh Memorial International School, Akhnoor. Foun dation and primary section celebrated Grandparents Day on 15th December 2018. The function started with welcoming the grandparents by dance performance. The primary section students beautifully sang a song. Then our little one dedicated a sweet poem to his dadima .
The chief guest on the ocassion Mr Sanjeevan kumar sharma (Naib Tehsildar) and Guest of honour Mrs Rashmi Singh (Sr. Executive J&K Bank Akhnoor). To balance the tones set by the events thus, far, we had a Game in which Grandparents participated with great Zeal and a short skit performed by the teachers. The winner grandparents from the Game were greeted with gifts by the Principal Mrs Shilpa Mahajan which brought a twinkle to their otherwise, dull eyes. Appropriate music and enthusiastic grandparent grandchildren combinations made these events runaway hits with all those present.
After this, the principal shilipa mahajan address left everyone.
