Anti-India Slogans in Jammu are not acceptable

JAMMU, Feb 13: J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu under the leadership of its President Mr. BS Slathia, held a protest demonstration in the District Court Complex, Janipur, Jammu against the anti-national elements who have by raising anti-national slogans on 12-02-2019 in GGM Science College, Premises, Jammu, made an unsuccessful attempt to vitiate the otherwise peaceful atmosphere in Jammu.
Mr. Slathia, while addressing urged His Excellency the Governor, J&K State that the anti-national elements/forces should be dealt with iron hands and brought tobook at the earliest and action be taken against them as warrantedunder law. Mr. Slathia vehemently stated that nefarious designs of the anti -nationals shall be fought tooth and nail and nobody shall be allowed to vitiate the otherwise peaceful atmosphere of Jammu in order to ensuremaintenance of communal harmony and brotherhood in Jammu region.
Mr. Slathia further urged upon the administration that the sleeping cells who are actively supporting these anti-national forces/elements in Jammu should be identified and weeded out from Jammu in order to ensure that no such incident happens in future in this nationalist heart land of Jammu.
Mr. Slathia further urged the Hon'ble Governor to accelerate the pace of the anti encroachment drive and the encroachers should not be allowed to escape from the clutches of law under the veil or camouflage of any religion, caste or creed. The encroachers are the violators in eyes oflaw and law should take its own course to book and punish them and the encroached land should immediately be restored from their possession. Mr. Slathia said that the Hon'ble High Court has passed various directions against the encroachers who have illegally encroached the State land but those directions have yet to be implemented in letter and spirit.
Mr. Slathia while concluding the protest demonstration urged upon the Governor (who during the President Rule in the State iscompetent in law to exercise powers of both the officesi.e. Governor & Chief Minister as well) to ensure immediate actionagainstsuchanti-national forces/ elements who are hell-bent todisturb the peaceful atmosphere of Jammu and in case of any delaythe J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu shall not act as a mute spectator and shall be left with nooption but tolaunch a mass agitation to weed out such elements from Jammu and in that eventuality, if it results in any law and order problem it shall be the sole responsibility of theadministration.
Needless to mention that in theafternoon, a team of police officers headed byTejinder Singh Sr. Superintendent of Police, Jammu visitedthe office of J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu and held a detailed deliberationwith the team of office bearers head byMr. Slathia, along with Prem Sadotra, Gen Secy & Mr. Himanshu Sharma, Joint Secybesides, Ravinder Sharma, former Addl. Adv. Gen., Ranjit Singh Jamwal, Rajesh Thappa, R.S. Durswal, Pawan Dev Singh, Monish Chopra, Vikas Pankaj, Bhanu Partap Singh Bandral, Mr. Aditya Sharma. The meeting of police officials and members of the Association was held in a very cordial atmosphere and during the course of deliberation, Mr. Slathia assured the SSP, Jammu that the Association shall extend its full cooperation in fighting and weeding out the anti-national elements, drug peddlers and encroachers from Jammu in order to maintain peace and communal harmony in this national heart land. SSP Jammu, assured that the culprits who raised anti-national slogans supported by their sleeper cellswho have made an unsuccessful attempt to disturb the otherwise peaceful atmosphere in Jammu shall be dealt with iron hands and brought to book at the earliest. SSP further assured thatthe police is tirelesslymaking all out efforts to nab them.
