BJP stages protest against Pulwama attack

JAMMU Feb 15: Thousands of angry and anguished BJP workers today staged strong protest against Pakistan and its sponsored terrorists against deadliest attack, that claimed precious lives of our brave Jawans.
BJP workers led by State President Ravinder Raina and other senior party leaders from J&K BJP staged protest against the deadliest and gruesome attack on brave CRPF men that led to their martyrdom.
Along with State President, MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, former Minister Sat Sharma (CA), State General Secretary Yudhvir Sethi, former Minister & BJP State Spokesperson Priya Sethi along with other senior party leaders burned the effigy of Pakistan at Vikram Chowk, Jammu to denounce the barbaric and ghastly act.
Raina said that strongly condemn the terror attack in Pulwama and said that this is a cowardly attack by terrorists who have been on the run due to the success of operations of security forces which registered a great success in eliminating a number of terrorists including many front rankings of the terror outfits. He said that this is a moment of grief for the country and the whole nation unites in expressing our solidarity with the security forces.
Raina added that the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi stated today our security forces have the full authority to act against such forces and have the capacity to impose heavy costs on the perpetrators of this attack.
He said that Pakistan based Jaish-e-Muham-mad has carried out this attack and there is evidence of Pakistan's involvement in this dastardly attack. MEA has initiated a series of diplomatic steps to ensure complete isolation of Pakistan by the World.
Raina said that the Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status which was granted to Pakistan in 1996 stands withdrawn. Ministry of Commerce is taking steps in this regard. MEA will engage with the United Nations to pass Comprehensive Conve-ntion on International Terrorism (CCIT) at the earliest.
