Kavinder salutes, condoles Martyrdom of security forces in Pulwama

Jammu Feb 18: Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Kavinder Gupta salute and also condoles the sacrifice of the security personnel's in the Pulwama encounter. He said the sacrifice of the brave soldiers would not go in vain, he further said that, soon Pakistan would be taught a lesson that is providing all type of support to the anti National elements. He also criticized the role of mainstream political parties who are giving anti India statements, thus diluting the minds of innocent Kashmiri people. He said role of all such leaders from national Conference and PDP should be thoroughly examined and the culprits should be put behind the bars.
He said there is need to formulate a policy to check the role of all those elements who were providing any type of assistance to anti national elements.
Meanwhile appreciating the Home Minister Raj Nath Singh and Governor Satya Pal Malik for the withdrawal of security cover from the Hurriyat leaders, Gupta said that it is a welcome step and there is need to review the security cover of all those protected persons in Jammu and Kashmir who are provided with the security from the pocket of Income tax payers of the country. Because they are involved in anti India sloganeering, tweeting, and campaigns. All such persons should be booked under relevant sections of law and put behind bars.
Kavinder Gupta also appealed to the people of Jammu to maintain the peace and calm in the Jammu to keep alive the tradition "Ganga Jamuni tehseeb". He also expressed deep concern over the news of ongoing harassment to the people of Jammu under the cover of Curfew by some police officers.
He said that people in Jammu so far maintained calm and peace and there should be no provocation to avoid any confrontation to ensure everlasting peace in the whole Jammu region .
