BJP will not succeed in misleading people further by their hollow slogans: Mahajan

JAMMU, APRIL 15: Shri Ram Sena (SRS) today slammed BJP for yet again befooling people of J&K in general and people of country in particular on contentious issues like Ram Temple in Ayodhya, abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35A and tall promise of bringing good days for people of country.
Addressing a press conference in Jammu, SRS State J&K President Rajiv Mahajan today cautioned the people of state against the false promises of BJP.
He recalled the attention of general public that same BJP had made same promises in 2014 also but against their ideology entered into alliance with PDP and in that agenda of alliance, BJP in written had promised PDP that it will not touch issue of Article 370 and 35A in the State.Mahajan went to the extent of saying that BJP must be ashamed of making such promises which it cannot kept after winning the elections as has been seen after forming govt both in state and centre.
He expressed with authority that he is hundred percent sure that if BJP once again returns to power in state and centre it will never address these issues and their only motive in the past and in present is to come back to power by exploiting sentiments of people for their vote bank politics.
Mahajan further added that BJP is habitual of raking such issues at the time of elections only and forgets everything to do anything about made promises with public.
The BJP made a host of economic promises in 2014, none of which is close to being fulfilled as we stare at another general election. In order to cover up its failure at governance, it is continuing to harp on an overtly communal line. But that will not come to their rescue, Mahajan added.
The BJP's game of polarisation is bound to fail in this election. BJP has polarized the situation during elections in the country and divided people to gain political mileage. But it is also true that people of the country have realized that BJP played a polarization card to mislead them on religion, regional lines," he said.
