Bhim Singh holds former ruling parties responsible for present chaos, disorder

Srinagar, Apr 16: Addressing a press conference in Srinagar (Kashmir), NPP Supremo, Prof.Bhim Singh accused all former ruling parties in J&K responsible for the present chaos, disorder and corruption. He told the press in Kashmir, Srinagar, that there is no law and order in J&K particularly in the Kashmir Valley and there is no rule of law for many years because of the ruling parties failure to deliver justice and equity to the people of J&K. He strongly accused the Congress, the National Conference, PDP and also BJP who ruled J&K during different intervals. He strongly appealed the electorates in J&K, specially in the Valley of Kashmir to participate in the polling and vote for the candidates of the Panthers Party assuring that the Panthers Party shall deliver justice to every home. Besides, the Panthers Party shall ensure the application of the Chapter of the Indian Constitution on all fundamental rights. He regretted that since 1950 the fundamental rights have not been included in the Constitution of J&K nor the J&K Constitution assures secular character.
Prof.Bhim Singh said that Panthers Party if gets a chance to enter the Parliament of India it shall fight for including three subjects namely, Defence, Foreign Affairs and Communications under the control of the Parliament of India which were included in the Instrument of Accession by Maharaja Hari Singh on October 26, 1947. He regretted that Parliament of India has failed to include these three subjects in the Constitution of India till this day. He accused Congress & BJP for playing such a deceptive role with the electorates of the country.
He said that the Parliament of India has no legislative control over three subjects even which were included in the Instrument of Accession by Maharaja Hari Singh. He said the present situation in J&K is not because of people of J&K but because of the failure of the Indian Parliament to assure the application of the Accession.
Prof. Bhim Singh assured the electorates in Kashmir also that the Panthers Party shall fight against the Public Safety Act and ensure to fight for justice and equity for all suffering from illegal detentions and prisons particularly in Kashmir. He also introduced the candidates of Lok Sabha constituencies Srinagar & Anantnag namely, Abdul Rashid Ganie and Mr. Nisar Ahmed Wani. Other NPP leaders present in the press conference included Ms. Anita Thakur, General Secretary, Mr. Rafiq Ahmed, Farooq Ahmed Dar, Provincial President-Kashmir, Mr. Hakim Arif Ali, President-Kashmir and others.
