DB Directs SSRB to file affidavit with regard to the recruitment in the Drugs and Food Control Organization

Jammu, May 9: In a Suo-Moto Public Interest Litigation on a news-item on food adulteration and rising cancer incidence in the Valley, A Division Bench of State High Court Comprising Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice Tashi Rabstan after gone through the status report dated 15th April, 2019 has been filed by Mr Atal Dulloo, Principal Secretary to Government, Health and Medical Education Department, disclosing the status of the sanctioned posts as well as the vacancy position and the steps taken for recruitment by the respondents.
DB observed that the matter with regard to appointment of non-gazetted staff stand referred to Service Selection Recruitment Board and directed SSRB to submit a status report on an affidavit with regard to the recruitment of various non-gazetted posts in the Drugs and Food Control Organiz ation. Such affidavit shall be filed within four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. JNF
