High Court staff defers mass casual leave protest

Jammu, May 9: On the assurance of Registrar General of J&K High Court, J&K High Court Staff Welfare Association has decided to defer the mass casual leave protest of 13th May, 2019, till next decision to be taken by the Association in this regard.
As asked the as asked for by the Registrar General to submit the charter of demands, The Association also submitted the demands Consideration of creation of different posts as per the earlier proposal prepared by the High Court sent and agreed to by the Government also. Providing suitable space for the staff of the Registry in all the wings in particular at Jammu wing where maximum space has been captured by the Advocates. Filling up of vacant posts of Junior Assistants/ Computer staff which are vacant for the last more than five years alongwith promotion of Orderlies against their 25% quota as Junior Assistants, Nomenclature of newly created posts, Grant of ACP to all the Gazetted Staff of the High Court which stands already approved by the Full Court in 2013-14, Filling of the post of Registrar Computer from High Court Staff and two posts of Joint Registrar Computer from already existing Deputy Registrar Computers. Posting of Officers of the Computer Section to handle the responsibility of Ecourt project in place of the persons who are junior most and even working on adhoc basis and providing proper nomenclature of the existing staff as has been done in case of System Officers/System Analysts etc. and also posting of High Court Staff from the cadre strength to Judicial Academy on promotion basis Instead of direct recruitment, Regularization of all Daily Wager/ Adhoc/ Daily rated/Casual workers who have already completed seven years or more service, providing of facilities commensurate with the status so far as the senior most officers of the High Court Staff are concerned regarding providing of vehicle/sitting arrangement etc Providing of one vehicle at each wing of the High Court for staff members for dropping them to their residence etc. during odd hours and detachment of all the lower court staff who has been posted in the High Court.
