JK Bank Under RTI Ambit an Encouraging Development: Shazad

JAMMU, JUNE 19: Congratulating, governor Satya Pal Malik, his team of advisors and especially the Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir State along with incumbent Chairman of the JK Bank for brining this state owned bank under the ambit of J & K Right to Information Act, Dr Shazad Malik, former Vice Chancellor of Sai Nath University and known educationist of the state welcomed the decision of the Board of Directors to finally submit themselves under the RTI Act.
The former Vice Chancellor said this is essence of democracy that in the end the voice of the common people prevails and the elite class may be able to hoodwink for some time but lastly truth and justice survives.He also appreciated the role of all civil society members and RTI activists who continued their effort and finally compelled the people at helm of affairs to take this much awaited decision. '' On the pattern of belt forces, like army, paramilitary forces and state police, the JK bank should also hold special recruitment drives to absorb educated youth of the border areas including LoC of the state, so that they may provide their services at the native places and provide banking facilities to the rural people at door steps'', appealed Dr Shazad to governor and bank management.
