CPS organizes Inter-Child Care Institution Competition

JAMMU, JUNE 21: The District Child Protection Services today organized the first of its kind 'inter child care institutes' card making competition in which children from Bal Ashram, Nari Niketan and Jagriti participated.
The competition was organized to commemorate Internat ional Yoga Day to raise awareness among the children about the importance of yoga in our lives. Additional Development Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Kumar, while distributing prizes among the best performing participants, said that Yoga increases flexibility of the body, improves peace of mind, and contains key to cardio and respiratory health.The first prize was bagged by Rekha Devi from Nari-Niketan, second prize by Priyanka Bharati from Nari-Niketan while third prize was clinched by Ashish Singh from Jagriti Bal Ashram. Besides, encouragement prizes were also distributed among Sunil Singh from Bal Ashram and Rakshit Sharma from Jagriti Bal Ashram.
District Child Protection Officer, Sana Khan, Chief Medical Officer KC Dogra, Chief Education Officer, Daljeet Singh, Juvenile Justice Board member, Yasmeen, Manager, Sports Council, Physical Instructors, Coaches, and Staff of CPS (Child Protection Services) were also present on the occasion.
