NHPC organises Yoga Day celebrations

Jammu, Jun 21: NHPC organized 5th Interna-tional Yoga Day at its Regional Office at Narwal, Jammu today. On this occasion, S. Tirkey, General Manager (HR), Ramesh Kumar, General Manager (Civil) and other officers and employees of NHPC were present.
Aditya Sharma, the Yoga instructor from Patanjali and his colleague Tarun Sharma conducted yoga exercises & meditation as per Common Yoga Protocol. While highlighting the importance of yoga, Tarun Sharma greeted NHPC Employees on International Yoga Day and asked them to adopt yoga as an integral part of life for their physical and mental well being. He said Yoga can help in overcoming the stress which is very much prevalent in modern times and it helps to promote health and peace of mind.
