Yoga should be an integral part of our daily chores: CRPF

JAMMU, june 21: 5th International Day of Yoga was celebrated here at Parade Ground Group Centre CRPF Bantalab, Jammu with full enthusiasm and in a very well organized manner. More than 1500 paramilitary personnel (CRPF, BSF, SSB and ITBP) deployed in Jammu region participated in the event to make it a success. Under the guidance of yoga instructors, officers and men of CAPF practiced various postures of yoga early in the morning. While addressing the personnel after the event, Shri K. Vijay Kumar IG CRPF J&K Zone Hqr, Jammu emphasized upon the importance and benefits of practicing Yoga daily in our lives. He said that practicing yoga cures many diseases and reduces their affects. Shri AV Chauhan IG CRPF Jammu Sector in his address, said that yoga is an effective means of stress-reliever and is beneficial for our physical, mental and spiritual health. He appealed all the personnel to inculcate Yoga as a habit in their lifestyle as it is very essential in keeping the mental agility and physical fitness of troops.
