BJP Co-operative Cell holds meeting

Jammu, JUNE 25: BJP Co-operative Cell held meeting Jammu and Kashmir BJP All cells Incharge S. Varinderjeet Singh chaired a meeting of BJP Co-operative cell at Party headquarter to take stock of the activists of the cell during last three months and also the forth coming membership drive commencing on July 6 next months.
The meeting, which was convened by State Co-operative Cell State Convenor H.S. Pummy, was attended by State Office Bearers and each of them put forth his views on further strengthening the cell and taking it to every booth in the State.
S. Varinder Singh, while speaking in the meeting, said that State Co-operative Cell has a very important role in the party as a large population of the State is associated with the co-operative and they need to be convinced to be part of the BJP. He said that the party's country wide membership is going to be launched on July 6 next month and in J&K to register 17 Lakh people as its members. To achieve the target, every cell has to contribute and co-operative cell too need to take the membership drive as a duty and put best efforts to reach people and get them enrolled H.S. Pummy on the occasion, announced that Ashok Singh Samyal, currently State Co-convenor of the cell, has been assigned the task as State Incharge for membership Drive.
He also told the Co-operative cell has its District units in 16 Districts in Kashmir and Jammu and that soon Ladakh region would also get District Convenors.
The meeting was attended by Ashok Singh Sambyal, Parkash Singh Jamwal, Janardhan Sharma, Tandev Sharma, Krishan Singh Jassi, Charanjeet Singh Charak and Mohan Singh Jamwal.
