Power shutdown

JAMMU, Aug 14: Executive Engineer EM&RE Division-II Gandhi Nagar has informed that, for completion of balance works by M/s IRCON International, the shutdown of LT network is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Channi Himmat and its adjoining areas will remain affected on August 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 from 8 am to 12 noon. Similarly, the power supply to Channi Himmat and its adjoining areas will remain affected on August 16, 17 and 18 from 2 am to 6 pm.
Likewise, the power supply to Sainik Colony and its adjoining areas will remain affected on August 19 from 8 am to 12 noon. Similarly, the power supply to Sainik Colony and its adjoining areas will remain affected on August 20 from 8 am to 12 noon. Meanwhile, 30 minutes shutdown of 11 KV of the concerned feeder should also be granted during the LT shutdown for tapping of HT ABC for charging of the transformer.
However, to carry out R&M works of 33/11 KV Receiving Station Khour, the power supply to Khour, Gigdyal, Hospital and its adjoining areas will remain affected on August 16 from 8 am to 5 pm.
Similarly, to carry out R&M works of 33/11 KV Sub Station Akhnoor, the power supply to Akhnoor Town, Sohal and adjoining areas will remain affected on August 17 from 8 am to 5 pm.
