INDIAN ARMY RESCUES SCHOOL CHILDREN

JAMMU, Sep 14: A video of the Indian Army rescuing children in Poonch from firing from across the border displayed the high standards that the Indian forces are known for. Army jawans are seen rescuing children from a government school in Sandote village at Balakote sector of Mendhar Tehsil amid a ceasefire violation from Pakistan.
The Army personnel also rescued children from two other schools in Balakote and Behrote village on Saturday. In the viral video, Army personnel are seen carrying the children and rushing them to safety after the firing started near the LoC. The Armymen can also be heard urging children not to be afraid as terrified children scurry to safety led by Army jawans.
Indian Army’s actions stand in stark comparison to that of Pakistan authorities which has evidently been urging the citizens of Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) to infiltrate into Jammu & Kashmir. Recent videos revealed how Pakistan’s army used PoK citizens as human shields to keep the pressure on India in Kashmir.
In one of the videos citizens of PoK are seen trying to push across the LoC who are then fired upon by the Indian Army in an attempt to foil the infiltration bid. The ceasefire violation by Pakistan comes on a day when Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Ranbir Singh’s visit to forward posts of Line of Control (LoC) in Sunderbani sector of Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing the media, Lt General Singh warned Pakistan against using PoK citizens 'cannon fodder' and send them across LoC.
Singh said, "There have been efforts by Pakistan and lot of rhetoric is there from the past couple of days that they want to instigate the civilians, locals in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) to come close to Line of Control (LoC) and even attempt to cross that. However, I would like to caution Pakistan not to use the civilians of PoK as cannon fodder because Indian Army is very clear, should there be any attempts at violating LoC they shall be responded to very effectively."
Pakistan has on several occasions since August resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violations from across the LoC in Jammu & Kashmir. Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan has repeatedly raked up Kashmir issue at global forums to internationalise the issue which the New Delhi repeatedly clarified as being India’s internal matter.
