Arrangements for BDC Elections finalized at Baramulla

BARAMULLA, OCT 12: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr G N Itoo today chaired a meeting here at Dak Bungalow to finalize the arrangements for the smooth conduct of forthcoming Block Development Council (BDC) elections scheduled to be held on October 24.
Meeting was attended by ADC, Deputy District Election Officer, ROs, AROs, officers/officials of the concerned departments, contesting candidates.
A comprehensive discussion on the necessary arrangements including security arrangements was held in the meeting. The DC emphasized upon the concerned officers to work in coordination so that the process is conducted smoothly... Later, a training programme was conducted under his supervision in which ROs, AROs and other concerned functionaries participated. The participants were acquainted about various aspects concerning the election process.
