DC inaugurates newly constructed building of school

DODA, OCT 12: Government Higher Secondary School Trown (Doda) in collaboration with Academy of Arts, Culture & Languages today celebrated its first Annual day with great and pump show.
Deputy Commissioner Doda Dr. Sagar D. Doifode was the chief guest on the occasion.
The students presented a scintillating cultural programme and a skit on communal harmony. A debate on communal harmony was also held.
In his address, the DC Doda lauded the efforts of GHSS Trown and appreciated the students and school management for their outstanding performances.
He also highlighted the importance of the extra co curricular activities in shaping the personality of the students.
Earlier, the Principal of the School Tanveer Ahmed Wani, presented a resume on various activities and highlighted the achievements of the institution despite various hurdles.
Later, Chief Guest presented prizes and mementos to the winners of debate and meritorious students.
Meanwhile the DC Doda also inaugurated the newly constructed building of the Govt. Hr. Sec. School.
Dy SP Dar Mansoor Ahmed, SDPO Bhaderwah Adil Rishu, GM DIC Doda Shahida Parveen, ACO Sala-ud-din, Sarpanch Riyaz Ahmed, teachers, parents and a large number of people participated in the function.
