Training programme under Ayushman Bharat held

Jammu, Oct 16: A training programme regarding integration of AYUSH under Ayushman Bharat comprising of comprehensive primary health care through Health and Well-ness Centres was organised by the Directorate of Indian Systems of Medicine J&K. The session was concluded today on 16/10/19 wherein Dr. Mohan Singh, Director Indian Systems of Medicine J&K advised all the Medical Officers to work with zeal and enthusiasm for upliftment of AYUSH systems of medicine.
The Director was accompanied by Deputy Director ISM Jammu, Dr. Anil Kant Gupta, along with Dr. Taran Singh Medical Superintendent Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu and Nodal officer HWC Jammu Division Dr.Vikram Singh Jamwal. The certificates among the trainees were given by the Director ISM, J&K.
The event was organized under the guidance of Director ISM J&K and was supervised by the State Nodal officer health and wellness centres J&K Dr. K. K. Koul, Dr.Vikram Singh Jamwal Nodal officer HWC Jammu Division gave brief introduction to Director ISM J&K regarding training programme being imparted to Medical Officers serving in Health and Wellness Centres.
Dr Rajesh Gupta, Dr Dharminder Kumar, Dr.Manjit Singh, Dr Chetan Singh, Dr.Shaily Jalan and Dr Sandeep Charak who are resource persons for the training programme were advised by Director to explore some model institute of Ayurveda so that doctors from the state are deputed there for betterment of their knowledge & skills.
