Dogra Law College organises Induction cum Investiture Ceremony

JAMMU Oct 17: Dogra Law College organised Induction cum Investiture Ceremony for the students of Ist semester of both BA.LL.B (5years) and LL.B (prof) 3 years courses.
Chairman, Dogra Educational Trust, Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, former minister and president of Dogra Sadar Sabha presided over the ceremony. The ceremony commenced with the lightning of ceremonial lamp by all the dignitaries followed by Saraswati Vandana by a group of girl students. Prof. V.P. Magotra Principal, Dogra Law College welcomed the students and explained the rules and regulations being followed in Dogra Law College, library facilities and the discipline. Col. K.N. Padha, Director, Dogra Educational Trust delivered a very motivational speech. Kr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary, Dogra Educa-tional Trust also shared his views. Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, Chairman, Dogra Educational Trust in his presidential address encouraged the students to work hard and motivated them to achieve their goals in life.
Seven meriterous students were given scholarship cheques by The Chairman. These were Ms. Alisha Bhagat for achieving first position in University of Jammu, Mr. Pratyaksh Dutta, Ms, Sonali Rampal, Ms. Vaishali, Mr. Digant Das, Mr. Shubankar Sharma and Ms. Harshini Slathia.
The class representatives of Ist semester of B.A LL.B and LL.B courses were bestowed with CR badges. The Chief Guest congaratulated all the meritorious students for their academic brilliance.
The Chief Guest praised the management and Dogra Law College for organising such ceremony for the encouragement of all the students.
The winding up of progamme was done with a vote of thanks offered by Sonakshi Mahajan, faculty, Dogra Law College. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.
