YCET conducts education trip to “Amartex”

JAMMU, NOV 19: An Industrial visit was organized to "Amartex Industry" Panchkula (Chandigarh), by"YCET College of Engineering and Technology" from 14th Nov to 16th Nov 2019.
Amartex is a fabric manufacturing industry Weaving, dyeing and processing, garmenting, etc. are part of their manufacturing business. In fact, they are on the verge of changing the manufacturing trend in India by unraveling the undefined style. Theyhave a fabric that can leave us spellbound .Their techniques of manufacturing products are a blend of traditional and modern ways. The students underwent complete process of textile industry in which they visited 3 sections of manufacturing industry weaving section, dyeing section and factory outlet.
The session was concluded with Question-Answer session. Many of the students asked different questions to Technical head on current demanding technologies, market scenarios etc and they cleared all the doubt and myths which was in students mind about technologies. The students also visited rose garden which is a botanical garden in Chandigarh and spread over 30 acres of land with 50,000 rose bushes of 1600 different species named after India former president Zakir Husain and created in 1967 under the guidance of Dr. M.S. Randhawa Chandigarh first Chief Commissioner. The student enjoyed the visit and came back with good technical knowledge. Er. Dinesh Gupta, Training and Placement Officer, Er. Neeraj Pandita, HOD of Mechanical Department, Er. Loveneesh Talwar, HOD of Electrical Department, Er. Anamika & Er. Shifali, Staff Members of Electrical Department accompanied the students.
