Army conducts debate competition on importance of Women in Socirety

JAMMU, DEC 2: Army conducted a debate competition on the topic 'Importance of Women in Society'at Government Model High School, Langer as part of Women Empowerment Campaign. The event was attended by 79 girl students and 09 teachers of the school.
An interactive session was also organised wherein issues pertaining to women welfare and government initiatives for equal rights for women were discussed. A medical camp was also organised wherein apart from distribution of medicines a lecture on various medical issues pertinent to women's health was delivered. The local populace appreciated the effort of Army in highlighting the importance of women in the society.
