98.3 Mirchi organized an ‘Mirchi Time Pass’

JAMMU, Dec 3: With internet services currently not active in the city, people are usually left confused when it comes to getting rid of the boredom. Every household has mixed reactions about pros and cons of internet unavailability, parents being happy that kids are no more addicted to cellphones and the millennial generation being irritated as they do not know anything except mobiles. It's a question many ask themselves throughout the week: Is it Friday yet? What to do when they are not at work and how to get rid of boredom?
98.3 Mirchi along with Mahavir watch company conducted an activity called Mirchi Time Pass and in their own way made time pass more fun and gave people of Jammu an evening to remember. People of Jammu had been interacting with Mirchi RJs from last one week every morning sharing their own experiences of how they used to pass time when there were no mobiles and no internet. The event was conducted at Mahavir watch company, Gandhi nagar which started with the host of the event, Jammu's very beloved 'Jammu Di Kudi' Mirchi Shwetima welcoming the crowd with applauses and making them go into the nostalgia zone remembering their childhood's best Time Pass tricks and games like Steppu, San-San-Santolia, Chor Sipahi and what not. Sharing her own best times, she mentioned that playing in streets with all her neighborhood friends still give her chills and that kids these days certainly miss on that thrill of getting scolded for dirty clothes and misplaced toys.
To make the event more engaging and interactive, multiple rounds of Tambola game were played which added more to the crowd's entertainment. Leaving the people in splits with his desi humour, Amit Singh Andotra better known as 'Comedian Chui' made sure that the crowd laughed their hearts out. The grand finale also featured a soulful and captivating band performance by Jammu's local band 'Ruhaaniyat souls' making one and all present, sing and groove to the music especially the 90's medley. Adding even more amusement to the evening, the host Mirchi Shwetima also engaged the folks in some fun filled conversations and activities and ensured that everyone was in full spirits and enjoying to their fullest. Different gifts like watches from Tissot, Citizen and Seiko were distributed and vouchers were distributed to the people who participated in the activities of the event. Along with various gifts and vouchers that 98.3 Mirchi had in its kitty, the public enjoyed all the fun and frolic that the event tagged along. The fun filled evening came to an end with 98.3 Mirchi's Mirchi Shwetima extending a vote of thanks to everyone present and acknowledging their contribution towards making the Mirchi Time pass an evening to remember.
